Places from the bygone era are becoming more rare as time goes on, but the retrospective aesthetic and feeling of these places still remain strong. A diner or drive-in was a staple in the 1950s and 1960s. They were popular gathering places, which served good food, played good music, and had friendly service. They are still loved today, and some are being preserved or recreated, in order to retain that feel-good atmosphere, in hopes that it does not become lost.

My series includes interiors and exteriors of local classic locations, such as diners and drive-ins. My purpose for this series is to highlight the beauty and nostalgia of these iconic places, which I have a passion for. Era-appropriate colors, textures, reflections, perspective, and atmosphere are emphasized in bringing my settings to life.
